The Rockland School Committee has approved the transportation policy for the Rockland Public Schools for the 2022-2023 School Year. The fee is $275 for one student with a cap of $475 for two or more family members. All students are required to register for transportation regardless of the requirements. Without a registration, transportation will not be provided.
Free busing will be provided to all students in grades K-8 who live further than two (2) miles from their school and to all students grades K-12 who qualify for free or reduced lunch, regardless of the distance to the school.
All students K- 8 who live within two miles of their school will be charged unless they qualify for free and reduced lunch. All students Grades 9-12 will be charged unless they qualify for free and reduced lunch regardless of the distance to the school.
Seats are limited and it is possible that demand may exceed capacity. If that occurs, preference is required by state mandate to be given to those in Grades K through 6 who live over two miles from school.
Please note registration and payment is required by August 12, 2022, to ensure bus placement for the start of the school year. A bus pass will only be issued before the start of school unless the above qualifications have been met and/or payment has been made.
This link will bring you to the registration form. Prior to payment, registration is mandatory.
You will have two options for payments:

Pay online will be available on the registration link.
