Summer Assignments

Grades K-4
Reading
We are kicking the summer off with a district-wide Elementary Summer Reading Challenge!
This summer, there are two parts to the challenge.
Part 1: Complete each reading task and check-off the boxes as you go.
Part 2: Each time you read, color the section that represents the length of time. To complete the coloring sheet you need to read for 9 hours and 40 minutes.
It will be FUN and EASY!!
Don’t forget about all the great resources available at the Rockland Memorial Library. Their facebook page is the best way to find updated events. Get excited to READ, READ, READ over the summer!!! Please plan to turn in your coloring sheet and check-list during the first week of school for a prize that celebrates your reading journey.
Sincerely,
Jan Sheehan, Michelle Scheufele, and Marilyn Smith
