Summer is a great time to participate in an enrichment program and many colleges and universities offer pre-college programs for high school students. We will add programs to the list as they become available or you can visit a specific school's website to see if they offer a program.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute - Programs for rising juniors and seniors to explore topics in STEM and the humanities. Deadline to apply is May 15th.
UMass Amherst- Summer program for rising Grade 10 - 12 students. Programs include Sport Leadership Academy, Summer Engineering Institute, Summer Design Academy, Programming & Processing, Forensic Science - Crime Scene Investigation... visit the site for a complete list of offerings.
Standford University - Pre-collegiate Studies (California) - for students in Grades 7-12 to engage in a worldwide learning community.
Duke University (North Carolina) - Summer options for high school students: 4-week academic program for college credit (Grades 10-12), 3-week summer enrichment program (Grades 9-12), 1 week Accelerated STEM academy (Grade 9-12).
Babson College - 4-week residential program for rising juniors and seniors to develop as entrepreneurial leaders. Application deadline: March 9th.
Boston University - Pre-College Programs: High school honors program; research in science and engineering; academic immersion in Psychology, Medicine or Creative writing; Summer challenge - explore 2 subjects of your choice.
Boston University Summer Journalism Institute - Three 2-week sessions for students ages 15-18.

Bryant University(Rhode Island) - Global Leadership Summer Academy for rising Juniors & Seniors. Program dates: June 15 - 19. Deadline to apply is March 2nd.
Northeastern University - Accelerate Pre-College Programs for high school students. Programs include (but are not limited to): Health Professions, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Physics, Bio-engineering.
Brandeis University- Pre-College programs for students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade. Programs include: App Design, Global Health, Service Leadership and more.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (New York) - PREFACE Program for rising Juniors & and Seniors who are historically under-served in the areas of science, engineering and technology fields.
Lehigh University (Pennsylvania) - Programs for rising 6th - 11th grade students. Model UN & Debate, Forensic Science & CSI and Sports Management are a few of the program offerings.
Norwich University (Vermont) - Summer Design Academy for creative minded artists looking to apply their skills towards a career in architecture. Program offers sketching and drafting, model building, seminars & guest lecturers, and hands on workshops.
Wheaton College (Norton, MA) - several programs including Explore Wheaton, Global Leaders Program, Business & Technology Immersion Program, Building Life and Academic Skills for Teens.
New English High School Journalism Collaborative - hosted at Regis College (Newton, MA) this one week workshop (June 20-27th) is all-expenses paid (no cost to the student), for students interested in Journalism.
Boston University - Summer Lab - An immersive lab experience in Biomedical, Biotechnology and DNA Sciences. One or two weeks - with commuter and residence options.
Penn State - Penn Summer Programs - Penn State offers a variety of options, including a Pre-College program, Summer academics and a Summer Prep program.
