Rogers Middle School/Rockland High School Building Project
Building Project update December 02, 2010
After much anticipation construction on the Rockland High School/Rogers Middle School building project has finally begun. The site contractor began this week to remove trees and rip up the asphalt in what had been the high school parking lot. This is in preparation for the digging of foundations. Over the next few weeks, new utilities will be hooked up to the building and the foundations will go in. The video update of the project can be found in the link below. The next major event for the project is the opening of the filed sub-bids which will take place on December 15th at 3:15 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Once these bids are in, the actual cost of the project can be determined. All cost estimates to date indicate that the project will be under budget.
