ANNUAL SCHOOL BUDGET TIMETABLE FY 2011
The following timetable is a planning document to help us achieve our goal of preparing an annual school budget for the May town meeting.
DECEMBER
- -Preliminary budget submitted to School Committee
- -Preliminary budget submitted to Town Officials
- (Accountant, Town Administrator, Finance Committee)
JANUARY
- -All budget data and approvals of proposed budgets must be in the Central Office by January 22
- (Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Maintenance Supervisor, Principals, Athletic Director, Nurse, IMC Director, Technology Director, Director of Pupil Personnel Services).
- -Principals’ budgets submitted to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent by January 22.
FEBRUARY
- -Principals and Directors meet with Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent (TBA)
APRIL
- -Public Hearing for School Budget FY11
- -Final Budget presented to Finance Committee
MAY 3
- TOWN MEETING
MAY 1
- -All purchase orders processed for FY10
